By accessing or using TextStories.site ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TextStories.site is a platform for creating, publishing, and reading chat-based stories. Authors can create characters, write chapters, and publish stories for readers to enjoy in a messaging-style format.

3. User Accounts

• You must sign in via Google OAuth to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Content You Create

You retain ownership of the stories, characters, and media you create. By publishing content on TextStories.site, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

You agree not to publish content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene.
• Infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights.
• Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
• Promotes violence, discrimination, or illegal activities.
• Contains sexually explicit content involving minors (this will result in immediate termination and reporting to authorities).

5. Publishing

Chapters are published individually. A story is published as soon as it has at least one published chapter.

6. Analytics & Data

We collect anonymized reading analytics (views, read time, completion rates) for stories you publish. This data helps you understand your audience. We do not sell or share this data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these terms. You may delete your content or request account deletion at any time.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, data preservation, or specific outcomes from using the platform. You use the Service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TextStories.site and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes where required by law.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TextStories.site operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
